Ahh, I'm so excited to be writing this on a website of my own! I've always wanted a website!!! I can't believe that after 3 years of messing around with html and giving up, I'd have a website within 2 days because of an unexpected coding frenzy!

It's a funny story, actually. I think I was scrolling on Pinterest when I came across a pin that went something like: Click here to view my personal website! And I was like 'Woah, I completely forgot I wanted to have one.' And so I decided I was going to get back on neocities and work on the website I'd abandoned all those years ago!

I completely went into focus mode, searching the web and opening forgotten bookmarks. I had some leftover experience with layouts from my terminated spacehey blog (Mods, I want a word with you! You terminated that blog for nothing!) so I set about searching for html templates. After some searching, I came across this reddit comment which linked to ribozone's GitHub and that was my big break! I saw opportunity in their cyanobacteria layout and went straight to work!

I didn't have school the next day so I spent about 8 hours or so just coding and combing through web resources and stuff. Whew! The first night I completed the index and 'about' page. The next day, I spent nearly the same amount of time doing the rest of the website. Wa-hoo! I even made my own blinkie and button in MS Paint! (Side Note: I went through quite some trouble to make them. I have no knowledge on gif making and I am too stubborn to learn so I just drew the frames in MS Paint, put it together in Canva, and resized + cropped using some random gif maker website)
