Who is Illi McMillin?
Illi McMillin is a fan-made character from My Chemical Romance's I'm Not Okay (I Promise) music video.
She is (usually) portrayed as a croquet-playing transfemme in high school, with her group of friends (Ray, Frank, Mikey). She is played by My Chemical Romance's frontman "Gerard Way".
There is no "official" Illi McMillin lore. Fans usually create their own based off scenes in the music video. This way everyone has their own lore of the world! This lore is sometimes referred to as the "Inokverse."

My self-insert in the Inokverse ("Alistair") goes to the same school as Illi and her friends! Alistair is in a love triangle with Illi and Frank. Frank and Alistair are bitter rivals competing for Illi's love BUT they're also secretly in love with eachother. Illi once caught them hatekissing and was lowkey turned on but also baffled. Why I like her
I just feel a deep attachment to Illi! I can't explain it, but it's pretty crazy. I'm super duper in love with her. Which is kind of funny because I'm not particularly to attracted to Gerard Way (though I agree that he's super attractive), but I'm deeply in love with her. She's so incredibly special to me because she's unafraid to be her true weird self, even if people bully and ridicule her.I can't describe it but I'm super attached to her. She's everything to me and more. She's the perfect girl.
