My take on the inokverse lore

CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS:

Mikey and Illi are siblings, they met Ray in elementary and Frankie's a highschool addition (though Ray and Frank used to live on the same block so they kind of knew each other). THey met Frank at the start of freshman year when he got into trouble for sabotaging the Jocks's baseball equipment. Illi was in detention with Frank (for wearing a skirt to school) and they started talking so Illi introduced him to the group! Ray was apprehensive about Frankie at first but eventually warmed up to him. Ray likes him very much now

EXTRA INFO:

So bascially Illi graduates highschool to become a famous singer in a hit rock band with her friends. Mikey and Ray are transmascs, Illi's transfem and Frank's bi. Frank's very smart but puts in the bare minimum to pass. Mikey's grades are average but he's ignored at school 'cause he's a bit of a loser. Ray's on the library committee and Illi's an okay-ish student but she gets into trouble for using her chosen name but also bullied because she's a stinky Fangoria-readin' artistic geeky shut-in swagless t-girl. They all don't hang out much after school because of their extracurriculars but they usually come to hang out in Illi's room (her mom's basement) 'cause she's very hard to convince to leave her room ( like I said, shut-in)

EXTRACURRICULARS

Horror Club: Illi got kicked for fighting with someone over Lisa Frankenstein and everyone thinks she's weird so they won't let her into any clubs (not like she wants to!! She can just use the extra period to. doodle or hide out on campus or hang out in the old graveyard behind the school)

Band: Frank plays guitar in a band "Frankenstein's Angels". He meets with them on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. They play in local bars from time to time

Tutoring: Mikey's dad put him in tutoring for his grades 'cause he failed English twice :( He hates it very much because the tutor is kind of a creep...

Library Committee: Ray has no idea how he got onto the committee but they say he's doing a great job and they won't let him go because they're super understaffed. He shrugs it off because he only has to stay 15 minutes after school sometimes

THE SCHOOL

Mainly a Christian academy private school thing, but a lot of students are secular/ from other faiths. Kind of tearing at the seams 'cause the funding's dropping due to some recent controversies (food poisoning from the cafeteria food, teachers caught fooling around in the janitor's closet and a huge weed bust - all in the past 3 years). Some of the teachers are lowkey psychos, but most of them are just overworked and underpaid + hate the idiot students lol

THE INCIDENT

(Before start of Junior year) Since they crashed baseball practice and beat up the team mascot the jocks decided to attack them with baseball bats after school. They gang showed up with their own croquet mallets and a huge fight occurred after school in the hallways. The janitor saw them and alerted the school security so they intervened.

INJURIES

Illi Sprained ankle, nosebleed & bruises
Mikey Broken glasses, bloody nose and scrapes
Frankie Broken arm and head injuries
Ray Minor bruising and a split forehead

Jock 1 Broken wrist and bloody nose
Jock 2 Sprained arm and bruises
Jock 3 Scrapes and bruises
Jock 4 Sprained knee and mild concussion

All of them were taken to the nurse and the more injured ones to the ER. They almost got expelled but their parents begged the school administration not to so everyone involved got off with a month of suspension (except for the Jocks that got 2 weeks due to practice for the baseball season, it's considered very important 'cause winning championships brings in a lot of money and the majority of the school budget goes to the team). When the gang got off suspension they were very targeted by the Jocks (in subtle ways only, the staff forced them to stay away from each other in order to prevent a worse future incident), because their star player broke his wrist in the fight and he couldn't play in the upcoming season. The gang was also forbidden from meeting by their parents for a bit.
